Complicated times call for subtle messages | | | | These are strange times with conflicting feelings and emotions. Some of us can be happy, some of us are suffering the worst we can imagine. All at the same time. Sometimes close together sometimes separated by many miles or countries, even. The idea of bold colours with soft edges is to capture this ambivalence while including everyone in messages. In the age of social media and the internet we can no longer compartmentalize and pretend there is nothing around us. We need to engage viewers with greater sensitivity to the broader than ever situations that our messages encounter in spite of all targeting efforts.
