Tips and tricks for your searches!
How to find the right image amongst 100 million more quickly
Don't be shy tell us a bit more about what you are looking for. Enter a few more keywords and just one or two. With 100 million, this quickly helps to narrow your search to pictures that accurately reflect what you are looking for. If you use Chrome, try voice to text entry.
There is a broad range of very useful filters on the left side of the search, which allow you to quickly narrow down search results. People, colors, image orientation and more are among the options available.
Use the color search to find a mood or color feel. A special feature is the possibility to upload an image to determine the color, mood or feel. For example, if you need an appropriate picture to sit well alongside an already selected image. You can upload that picture or any other picture of your own choosing and then control the search result related to your picture's colour tonality with keywords. This greatly shortens the time needed to find multiple pictures in the same tonality for one or multiple subjects.
Search entry by voice
This is a feature we find particularly cool. Even if we say so ourselves. In the Chrome browser you can use voice input. Just click on the microphone at the side of the top left search box. No more need for annoying typing. Makes using "more keywords" easeier and faster than ever before. The search result accuracy of searches with more keywords is amazing, by the way. And don't worry, with 100 million pictures there are practically always enough pictures in the result.
Please also take note also the similar search, which you can find under pictures in the preview window. This makes it easy to quickly find pictures from the same shoot or similar content without having to enter keywords again.
There are 3 sort orders for results, and playing with those sometimes brings new ideas up quickly. With "Relevance" we have made a mix of success, image rating and upload date. Hopefully self-explaining, Topsellers works like the pop charts these days, with a mix of single-image sales and downloads from subscriptions being used to present popular images first. And date of course shows newly uploaded image first.
